The Stake of Four
King Bernadette
Ruler and leader of the kingdom of Bellae, working with The Stake of Four to keep the final three planets in stability. Created The Stake of Four as a means of keeping the people happy and calm, making sure the fear of the Necrosa didn't break their society apart.Born on Torrent-II, and is many years older than Dr. Frederic, who he is extremely close friends with. Born to the royal leaders of Torrent-II, one of the first to flee to Torrent-III. Bernadette was brought up to be a regal king, and usually manages to live up to his reputation as one.
Dr. Frederic
A man known for his eccentricity and intellect, which often work one in the same. His innovations border on impossibility, such as the planetary shields that prevent the Necrosa from reaching the cores of Torrent-III through V. He is the second member of The Stake of Four.Born on Torrent-II not long before it's destruction. He watched his mother be swallowed up by the cracking planet's surface, and thankfully escaped the planet with his father, with just enough time to spare to watch the planet crumble.
Finneas Thorne
A cold and quiet leader of the military of Torrent-IV, known for using few words, and trying not to strike, unless absolutely necessary. Veteran of the Draconic wars, earning many medals from both King Bernadette and the previous rulers. The third and oldest member of the stake of four.Born as an Etholeave on Torrent-I long before it's destruction, as a result of human/dragon DNA splicing, and human experimentation. When Etholeaves began to take power from humans, Finneas lost his right arm in a battle, and now has a prosthetic.
Sir Herophin
The Major religious leader of Torrent-III through V, and the youngest member of The Stake of Four. He is widely respected and considered to be extremely powerful, and a prophet for all ten Synthesias.Born on Torrent-III shortly before King Bernadette came of age, his parents quickly recognized his intrinsic kindness when he helped a young girl out of a ditch, injuring himself in the process. From then on, he was able to hear the voice of the Synthesias, making him a prophet, and their voice to the mortal world.
Other
Torvah Lambda
Born on Torrent-III as a reaper, served his seven years reaping souls, then chose to live as a "human" for the rest of his foreseeable life. He has an immense knowledge of machinery and science, even possibly rivaling that of Dr. Frederic.
After serving his seven years, Torvah grew up on the outer end of the kingdom of Bellae, where laws were not enforced as strongly as in the city gates.
